Our Story
Where It All Began
Ochaa was born from a simple but powerful idea — that a café could be more than just a place to eat and drink. In a city buzzing with energy, ambition and untapped potential, we wanted to create a space where Guwahati's most curious, creative and community-driven people could come together.
The name 'Ochaa' draws from the Assamese spirit of warmth and togetherness. Every cup of tea we serve carries the legacy of Assam's legendary tea gardens — the mist-covered hills, the earthy aroma, the unhurried pace of a perfect brew.
We opened our doors not just as a café, but as a community space — a place for conversations that matter, ideas that spark, and connections that last. From our first kulhad chai to our first O'Connections event, every moment has been shaped by the people who walk through our doors.
